Who do I work with?

  • The Postpartum Mom

Becoming a new mom doesn’t always feel how we thought it would. You might be second-guessing yourself, feeling on edge or just trying to get through the day without losing it. I help women with postpartum anxiety to feel steadier, trust themselves more, and connect with their identity both within and outside of their role as a mother.

  • The Emerging Adult

Stepping into adulthood comes with a lot of unknowns. Perhaps you find yourself wondering if you’re doing it “right” and wrestling with anxiety of what’s next. I help young women slow down and connect with what matters to them, while finding ways to cope with the uncertainty of not having it all figured out.

  • I focus on helping women find their way back to themselves.

What will therapy look like?

  • Teletherapy

I work one-on-one via telehealth with clients located in the state of Illinois. We will meet through a secure video platform. You can meet with me from the comfort of your home, or any private, safe space of your choosing.

  • Approach

In therapy, I keep things flexible and collaborative. My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, helping you make room for hard emotions while reconnecting with what gives your life meaning. I also draw from existential work, exploring questions of identity and purpose that often surface during times of change.

My approach considers both your inner world and the world you live in. The way we feel is often shaped by context — by the expectations, pressures, and systems we move through every day. In our work together, we’ll explore what it means to care for yourself within that reality, rather than jumping to labeling your reactions as “wrong.”

  • Values

A Feminist, Anti-Oppressive, and Safe Space

Quiet Corner Counseling is built on deep respect for your autonomy and lived experience. I am a feminist who firmly believes in a woman's right to choose and works to challenge the restrictive societal expectations placed on women and gender roles.

As a white, straight, cisgender woman, I engage in self-reflection and education to understand my privilege and ensure I am showing up as an actively anti-oppressive and culturally-aware therapist for all my clients.
